should she call to let me know she is home safe?

I have no problem with my g/f going out with her freinds. I trust her. I would like to know she is home safe and sound. Just a phone call or a txt to let me know. She knows I don't sleep well when she dosnt call. Is that asking too much?

1. Not at all. A phone call may be unnecessary now, but in this day and age a quick text with a smilie say "Home okay :) xoxo" or something like that is fine. I wouldn't obsess about it personally or let it interfere with the relationship if she really doesn't want to, but no; I don't think it's too much to ask. :)
2. Personally, no - I don't think that is asking too much at all. I think that it's a nice gesture on your part that you care. If she minds, then it might be a different issue, but I can't imagine why she would mind as long as she knows that you're not checking up on her.
3. Is where she is staying having a high crime rate? If yes, let her know your concern. If it is not, then I think you need to re-examine your reason for asking her to do so. Giving each other spaces is necessary in all relationships.
