Fallout New Vegas Pulse Gun Vault 34?

I've got the gun in my inventory but the quest still shows me needing to retrieve it??? Any ideas? Not sure if I repaired it with another weapon. It is a unique weapon. If I repaired it does that prohibit me for turning it in for the quest?

1. This is a known bug and there is currently no way to solve it. You will have to reload to an earlier save. If you have the PC version then complete the quest via console command (you wont be cheating as you have completed the mission) if your on xbox then sorry. I know how painful it is to go back on your saves and do something all over again. 2. that quest is really bugged, but if that option doesnt work then check out euclids c-finder, its the gun you buy from that kid in freeside, it is also another option, and i think you only need 1 piece of advanced tech
