Is it okay to install an outlet wall safe in my closet?

i bought a hidden wall safe that looks like an outlet, i already have an outlet on each one of my walls, so it wouldnt look right if i installed it on my wall, in my closet its a different type of wall, is it okay to cut a hole into this??

1. maybe you should install a panic room a fallout shelter and live in fear for the rest of your life that someone is going to invade your private home . If youre going to do anything then secure the house from anyone being able to gain access to your home and valuables , like video surveillance and home security system that is monitored 24 hours a day by a reputable alarm company. geeeez !!!

4. I've never seen an outlet (actually a receptacle) in a closet. I have however seen multiple receptacles along a wall. I'd put it in where a chest of drawers or other piece of furniture covers it and plug something into it (like a rechargeable flashlight). Second situation is cutting into the wall. Use a tool that only cuts as deep (or slightly deeper) as the wall material. You don't know what is behind the wall and electrical cables are common but usually at least a half inch deeper than the thickness of the wall since they are run through the studs. Of course another way to handle this is to get a safety deposit box at your bank. When professional buglers hit a house they only look in a few places: bed side tables and other bedroom furniture, jewelry chests, refrigerators, pantries, and china closets. If something else grabs their interest - like a gun cabinet - they may spend a couple minutes on it but generally, they are in and out in less than 15 minutes. Find someplace goofy - like your child's toy box, a fake piggy bank, or a non-working radio with no insides and you will almost certainly retain your "hidden" property. Once something hits the market your buglers know about it as soon or sooner than you do and how to check for it quickly.
