How do I know if my wall is safe enough to mount my flat-screen TV?

My mom does not want me to mount my flat screen because she thinks my wall is not good. How do i know if my wall is safe?

1. Try to mount it, if it falls the wall isn't strong enough, and if it stays the wall is strong enough.
2. depending on the size it can be mounted either to the drywall or if more than 50lbs it needs to be mountred to the studs. go to the hardware and tell them what you are doingh and they will show you the type of fastner to use.

4. Use the Pedestal base and put it on a cabinet. The other option is to use a mounting bracket and mount it to the wall with the bracket into the wall studs. Drywall anchors will work too (toggle type) if you can't find studs where you want to mount it.
