What is the safes airline to fly a minor?

I am in jamaica ive been looking for a safe airline to fly a minor i had my eye on spirt air it is cheap and they havent had a plane crash yet since 1970 and we are in 2011 . do not recommend american airline becuz they crashed in jamaica with their plane in 2 so can someone tell meh plz oh going ft lauderdale

1. i dont like spirit airways because they will charge you $40 dollar for carry-on bages each! plus charge you everything else as well like water, food -$5 for water! i think they wouilld even charge for using the restrom but you might already have a problem because Spirit Airlines does not accept unaccompanied minors for international travel and jamacia to the us is consider international travel you could try delta, or jet blue
2. American is still a safe airline and I have flown with them before and have no hesitation flying with them again. Spirit Airlines is okay and does have cheap fares. Also they do go to Ft. Lauderdale non-stop which is nice. Not sure if they still charge for carry-on bags though.
