okay again i still need answers?

ok i was never arrested nor admitted to a mental hospital.. someone called and reported that i was suicidal and the cops came in and took me to the hospital with no proof but a note i wrote to my wife about me being suicidal a while back in the mean time they got into my gun vault and took my weapons even though i still have a CCW license to carry a fire arm they have not been revrevokednow the detective is saying he will no release my weapons back to me although it was a proven fact that i am stable and able to continue with my CCCW'sso my question is dDoe columbus police department have a right to keep my guns? or should they release them to me me andr a family member? can someone help me out with this matter? im hoping someone can help me research it i really need to know.. my wife actually bought those for me and 2 of then was a family alum
