Is it possible to remote access your home pc at work without downloading any program?
Where I work doesn't allow downloading anything at all. I was wondering if there is still a (safe) way to control my computer while I'm at work? I absolutely cannot download ANYTHING. and I don't haveaccess to use the remote assistance on my work pc. I basically can't do anything on my work pc but that's the reason I'm asking this question. Thanks.

- No. You would at least need VNC installed. Most all remote sharing websites install some sort of plugin or add-on to allow you to do this. Maybe you can do this with Meeting Space in vista or NetMeeting in XP.
- The above answer is incorrect. You can use a free remote control site like Logmein.com. To get things working, you: From your home computer - Go to logmein.com and create and account Then from your account page, add your HOME computer to the account. You will have to download and install the logmein software on your computer (use the free version - it's - well - free) Once you have installed the software on your machine, wait for tomorrow (Make sure you leave your computer turned on. Then, at work, open your web browser and get to the Internet. Go to logmein Access your account Double click on your home computer Enter your password Select remote control You are controlling your home machine FYI - there are other free sites beside Logmein - It's just that's the one I use. The instructions apply to any of them. Good Luck
- Yes, It is possible to remote access other PC without downloading any program. Solution is simple, Just try to use some web based Remote Access application because it does not require any installation on your system. It is most secure and easy way to access any system connected to the internet. I would recommend you to check Banckle Remote Access which is web based application and Free for one year.
