Do liberals actually believe the rich roll around in their money in vaults like Scrooge McDuck?

They don't actually believe the rich spend or invest their money elsewhere? Looks like I've struck a nerve with the socialists they've resorted to insults! HAH

2. Most liberals, deep down, believe the rich *do* spend their tax breaks, etc., on hiring people. Unfortunately, the hiring takes place in China, India, and Thailand.

Are you by any chance referring to the REPUBLICAN-DEMOCRAT-decided expiration date for the UNFUNDED and DEFICIT-CAUSING tax cuts for the wealthiest top 2% of Americans at the end of the year? Do moderates? Do Bluedogs? Do progressives? How come you are leaving out 3/4 of the Democratic party when you ask this question? And precisely what is your RELIABLE (not "Faux") source, if you actually have one, for the assumption that "liberals" would hold the belief upon which you base your question? Consumer spending produces growth in our GOP-shrunken economy and saves this nation from ruin. The ones most likely to SPEND are those who live from paycheck to paycheck or the small business owners who move their products thanks to this spending and then order more, thus creating jobs in an upward and outward spiral. Billionaires like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates WANT their taxes returned to the 39% rate they paid during the very prosperous President Clinton years, and have gone on national television to say this. Millionaires and billionaires are HELPED by lowering our deficit and our national debt---and these goals can only be achieved if we GENERATE and COLLECT REVENUES (i.e., taxes). Whether these wealthy few do "roll around in their money in vaults" is beside the point---they can if they want. But whether they are required to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE is very relevant to this nation's HEALING and to long-term PROSPERITY!
