How can I find the combination for an in-wall safe that is open before I try to close it?

The safe is a Mosler and it is in the basement concrete wall of a house my friend is going to purchase.

1. Contact a locksmith and he/she will reset the combination for you, or get it from the home owner. I could tell you how, but if you're not on the up and up, I'd feel forever responsible. Good Luck to you

4. The home I bought had 2 safes open and what I did was remove the plate on the door then turn the dial slowly until I saw the opening on the 1st inner ring, marked that number down then did the same for 2nd and 3rd then tried the 3 numbers and BOOM, Success.
