What are all the securities and policies of bank vaults and armored car guards? (the town)?

What are all the securities and policies of bank vaults and armored car guards? I watched that movie The Town, and I was just wondering what are al the securities (the things they have to keep the money safe and obstacles to make the robber so its harder to rob) of a bank and the bank vault? Because I went to my local bank the other day and the vault door was wide open and I was confused to why that was, but there were about 20 cameras in the bank so it was kind of ironic. And then in the movie the bank vualt only opened on a certain time, what does that do? Also what are the policies of the armored truck guards? The big bullet proof cars that transport money I'm just curious, thanks for answer

2. Every banking company has a different policy so its hard to group them all into one but I'll try. The banks in the city I live in never leave the vaults open. Well, I've never seen them open. They could be open before I go in. The armored cars that transport the money have many different policies to stop criminals from robbing them. They must have one person watching the cars whenever there is money in the back. One person goes in and collects the money from the bank and then under the supervision of the guards it gets put in. In my city, the cars are not allowed to stop when transporting money, and they only ever carry one banks money at a time. The security policies in the movie would be more difficult to get past, just because its a movie. They arent likely to make it easy for the bank robbers are they? I hope this helps.
