What is the spin sequence to open a wall safe?

it is a 4 number combo. I am trying to explain to someone via phone how to open the safe. How would I explain to them how to open the safe?

1. If you know the combo, then try both ways: it's either R,L,R,L or L,R,L,R It's really up to the manufacturer. Typically, start at zero, and spin right at least once past zero and stop at the first number and spin left and so on. Do a google search by name then send them an email. If not, contact the local locksmith. You will need the manufacturer and model to give them.
2. rules say spin right past the first number at least twice....stop on it.....then turn to the left, passing the first number twice, then landing on the second number. Then turn right passing the previous number once and stopping on the next number. Then turn left, stopping directly on the fouth number....good luck
