Is it safe to plug multiple devices into a usb wall charger using a usb splitter?

I have one wall charger for USB devices, but three devices that will need charging when I'm travelling. Cold I plug in a USB port splitter, and then plug each device into that one? Is that safe for the devices? Thank you.

1. Depends like ipads need more power to charge, but it's ok just might take longer to charge multiple devices.
2. You could, but there is only so much current there, so it would take more time to charge the devices.
