How do I remove Win 7 Home Security without internet/downloads?
It's not letting me access internet and I have no other computers (I'm on my phone right now). I tried rebooting and going into Safe Mode, but the virus stopped me there as well. Is there any way I can get rid of this myself with no internet? And no, the bleepingcomputer.com guide did not work.

- To remove Win 7 Home Security 2011 spyware you must block Win 7 Home Security 2011 sites, stop and remove processes, unregister DLL files, search and delete all other Win 7 Home Security 2011 files and registry utility. Follow the Win 7 Home Security 2011 detection and removal instructions Here > http://freeofvirus.blogspot.com/2011/03/win-7-home-security-2011-removal-guide.html .
- Such problems occur to my system a million times. Just follow these. 1.The best way is to use advanced uninstaller (assuming your system is in a state to install it). Get some uninstaller from a friend and it will forcibly remove all the program files related with this program.(even registry entries) 2.Now type msconfig in start button search bar and remove the services and start-up programs related to Home security(if they are still there). 3.Now go to program files and delete the related folder. If the software folder is not there, no need to worry. It might have been uninstalled or it might be installed somewhere else. 4.Reboot your computer & click esc, or F2 or F10 or F8 to open up the advanced options. Select repair. Again Reboot.
- Do NOT try to manually remove any infection. Often causes them to replicate, making it worse. I wish people who know nothing about computers would stop posting spam links to blogs. Use a wired connection, wireless will not do this. Start in safe mode with networking and go to : http://malwarebytes.org. Download the free scanner and run the full scan. If you can not reach the Internet even then, use the task manager to turn off any services you do not need.
- It is theorectically possible but to follow the manual removal is extremely difficult and usually fails there is only one realistic way to remove Win home 7 security without the internet and that is to restore your laptop/PC to factory condition using your recovery disks. Ideally go into safe mode and copy off your data files first if you can Otherwise go to a friends computer and download MBAM http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php onto a memory stick and follow the instructions. - I have removed this virus myself; therefore, I can give you great advice on how to remove Win 7 Home Security 2011. The internet is functioning properly; however, when you attempt to visit a website, Win 7 Home Security will redirect each website to their infection page. However, if you have Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, if you right click on the program and select "run as administration," Win 7 Home Security 2011 will not block websites. The other option is to put the url of the file which you want to download directly as the address into the browser, which will also work. However the virus will make changes to Windows. Therefore, I would start by attempting a system restore. When attempting to open system restore, you may need to right click on system restore and click run as administrator. Microsoft provides information on system restore - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-System-Restore You can also manually remove the virus if you don't want to use system restore. Here is a good guide on how to remove Win 7 Home Security 2011 - http://www.virusremovalguru.com/?p=6868 Lastly, you can use programs to remove Win 7 Home Security 2011. A free program (or mostly free) is Malwarebytes. If you want to download it, you will need to place the url of the download file directly into the browser. My personal recommendation is to use system restore, especially if you system has old system restore points.
