Is piercing at home safe to do?
I want to pierce my nipple but I don't know if it's safe to do myself. I've never pierced anything before.. but my nipples look like fun.

- piercing an ear/nose is good but tongues, nipples are more harmful and sensitice area, get it from the pros
- you could prob do it wit da rite tools but I think it would a lot safer to go to a place to do it just incase cuz getting infected there could hurt like hell so yea
- No it is not safe it can get infected and it will hurt very bad and you would probably need to see a doctor. the skin around the nipple is very sensitive that is why you need to take proper precaution.
- no .
- Obviously, it's not. First, you don't have sterile equipment. Even if you buy stuff online that comes in plastic, it is NOT CLEAN AND STERILIZED. You need auto-clave. Second, the nipples are very sensitive and painful, and how would you go about piercing them? It's not like your ears. Go to a professional that would do it right, and would limit the chance of infections and a trip to the hospital. Grow up.
- You don't want to hit a nerve or have it get infected or spilt. Go to a professional and get a job that is done well. It's worth the extra money so you don't have to go to the doctor and try to get it fixed.
- There is a reason people have to get certified to be piercers. Doing it at home is a very bad idea. I've gotten my nipples pierced before by a professional and it will hurt and it's very difficult to do. You may flinch or pierce it too shallow so it will get infected, reject itself, and cause a lot of pain. And you don't have sterile equipment so infection is very likely.
