What would happen if someone got locked inside a bank vault?
You see this happen all the time in the movies when the bad guys try to rob banks. What would happen if it happened for real? How would the employee's or customers get out of the safe? Is there a safety mechanism to allow them to unlock the door from the inside? What about suffocation, is that also possible, or would there be sufficient air flow to prevant that?

- They would survive the end of the world and finally have time enough at last to read and be alone.
- Considering that there's enough oxygen in a coffin to last you 3 hours, you'd be fine in a vault. Vaults are checked at opening, closing, and throughout the day, and are constantly video monitored in the security office. Not only that, guards stand outside the vault door constantly on guard. So you'd only be in there for a maximum of 12 hours. In other words, you'd survive.
- The chances that a person would get locked inside a vault (although a toddler managed) are slim, I think whether the vault is able to be opened from the inside (with out a key or combo) is decided when the bank orders the vault. Like the above person said, if you get locked inside, you will survive unless it's a really bad bank that has fake security cameras, and put cardboard watchmen over the weekend.
