How Do I Make A At Home Cage Disinfectant Thats Bird Safe?

What are some "bird safe" at home products I can use to clean my brooder/cage that my chick is in?

1. vinegar and water... but make sure it is aired out before you put your bird back in.. peace!
2. best thing to do is just take it outside and use soap and water.
3. You could use a really dilluted bleach / water mixture...something like 2% to 5% bleach mixture and mist the cage when the bird is not there or wipe down the cage with the bird in it. The bleach mixture should evaporate quickly and not harm the bird since it's so dilluted. (I think).
4. we always used one part bleach ten parts water in our aviary make sure you air everything out cant stress that enough birds respiratory systems are extremely fragile. especially if you are cleaning a brooder.i would actually go back and clean that a second time with soap and water.
