When our MILITARY comes home to the USA what can we do to keep them safe from the thugs on city streets?

I know they can pretty much take care of themselves but it is really dangerous in US cities I have a Legit question. most of you like the sound of your own voice.

1. I hardly think its as dangerous here as it is over there.

4. The thugs on the city streets are pu**ies. If they attempt anything, just let our troops take them out like a terrorist. They have the training and know how.
5. things are different these days, a lot of times troops get themselves into these situations. it used to take months to get back to the states after being overseas back during wwII. i made it back from iraq once in less than 24 hours. its a shock on people. you go nuts. i wish there were an answer to your question
6. There is more violent crime in San Fransisco than on any US base. Maybe we should start sending every US citizen to Basic Combat Training and giving everyone M4 SOPMODs with M203s.
7. After what they've been through over there, I'd worry more about how the thugs would fare! These people are highly trained and if they survived in those places , I wouldn't worry about them a bit at home. We need to provide services to de-program them to allow them to fit into a non combat type of life again. They deserve every medical and mental health service available.

11. How old are you? You must be very young and uneducated. If you think that US Military Soldiers can't handle themselves in the states....then your just plain retarded! Do you really think it's more dangerous in the US than it is in a war-zone, give me a break with these pointless questions!!! If it's so unsafe where you live, you should be in fear for your own safety and not trained Military professionals!

Listen, I've been through divorce, homelessness, many illnesses, seen 6 cars being blown up, kids smashed windows out of my car who were high on drugs, and I've had tires ripped off my car by illegals. I've had people try and run me down and think it was funny. I've been sick most of my life and still alive and noone to take care of me. But you know? I've survived living in the United States of America. It's worse here than a warzone and I think the troops will do okay you know having lived with bombings and insergents. Plus, they at least know how to fire a weapon. I don't.
14. Doesn't everyone deserve to be protected in the United States? I just watched this poor guy get shot 3 times in the abdomen so these punk juveniles could rob his store of money and clothes. (On TV, of course, one of those caught on tape things.) It's ridiculous how disgusting and evil people are. We need more cops on the streets.

16. Sorry, but I have no military. So, when these murderers come back to the united States of America, why should they be treated with respect and honor? How much honor does it take to bomb weddings? How much honor does it take to fire an automatic rifle at a crowd of people wanting food and water, after their nations infrastructure has been purposefully destroyed? How would you expect to be treated after committing the crimes the united States military has?
17. Ya the south side of Detroit had road and suicide bombings all the time. They just spent time in Goonyville so i doubt that they will be beat up by a bunch of wannabes. If they want to protect themselves they can go buy a Glock and a concealed weapons permit and shoot anyone who messes with them. (and if they can't use a pistol then they probably weren't in the military) I hope timetrav gets his butt kicked by a seaman
