how do you build a safe box around the ac unit outside?

i have a daycare in my home and had a inspection recently from the state they would like to see my ac unit outside boxed in how do i do this with the cables and what kind of material do you suggest

1. Well, you don't want to "BOX" it in. It needs air circulation to operate. How about just putting a fence around it. That would be easy and keep the kids from getting inside the AC unit. Materials could be wood, or chain link.
2. Chain Link Fence. Ac unit Need's Air to cool.
3. Try building a lattic fence around it, somehow with one lattic as a door so the unit is serviceable and lockable so the kids cannot go in.
4. Make a fence that runs from the side of the building around the A/C unit. It will need to have a gate for access and the pickets shoud be staggered inside and out side to allow airflow.
