Are SKY LIGHTS in homes safe?Can they be reinforced for added security?

DO NOT ASK ME IF I KNOW THIS ISN'T THE HOME SECTION...i do know that,its just that me gets no love elsewhere...i rather ask family!!!!!!

3. what kind of neighborhood do you live in? Do you seriously know any cat burgalars or know of anyone who has been a victim of one? they are perfectly safe. and yes you could put an alarm on them and locks/
4. yeah you can but if you do it wrong it can look bad, see if you can get a guy that works in metal to weld a nice patten for you.
5. Yes they can be reinforced for security but it will be more expensive. Go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and ask for more information. Your not gonna get much helpful "love" here. You probeb.y shouldest be worried about people breaking in though your sky lights. Catholic_17
6. ...if installed by a pro, they are completely safe....and anything can be reinforced...if you are having one installed, just tell your installer what you want to have done....don't let him/her talk you out of it....
7. I've had mine for over 10 years and I'm not having any issues with roof leakage. The only complaint that I do have is that the room where it is turns into an oven in the summertime even with the heavy shade.
