Is it safe to use Mobile phones near home computers ?

7. I know that it's definitely not safe to use them or even keep them any where near ZIP disks as it makes them unreadable. Apparently, memory sticks are prone to damage from mobile phones - i have no experience of anything going wrong in this respect, but then I always keep my phone well away from both my memory stick and hard drive. If you call someone and then hold your phone up to the monitor you should see flickering on the screen, so i figure it must do something to your HD - call me paranoid if you like!
