My Windows XP Home computer will not network properly with 98 and Vista.?

My home network is running on a Linksys 4 port switch/router. XP, Vista, and 98 can acces the Internet, but only Vista and 98 can share files. When I start XP in safe mode with networking all three computers can share files. Please let me know if you have any ideas so I can fix this.

1. The first thing I would check would be the XP firewall. This very often prevents local networking. You need to be sure that it allows it to connect. Other than that recheck all the usual items. Workgroup name, file sharing etc. But my best guess is the firewall. (firewalls usually don't activate in safe mode)
