What is the most prestigous community in fort worth, or where is a great place to raise children in F.W.?

We live in MD, and we are very interested in moving to F.W. We looked at North Richland Hills, Grapevine and Arlington. For a home $175-$250k, where is the safest, best schooling, up and coming area to move? D.F.W. is a huge area, but we are getting mixed reviews. Coming from a upper class area in MD, what would be the best place to move in this prce range? The last question is what is the more prestigous areas in D.F.W. from 1-10, and what areas are the area to "Avoid"?

1. Hi... I am a Realtor in this area. Personally, I have lived in North Richland Hills for 12 years. I now live in Keller which is practically right next door. There are many nice places to look and yes some more prestigous than others. For instance, Southlake and Colleyville are very upscale but you might not find the home of your dreams for the price range you mentioned.
