My Acer laptop doesnt work with my digital camera memory card,it says removable device,any help?

when i put in my digital memory card in the slot, it says safe to remove device. i dont kno what to do bout it. it used to work but now it just says safely remove hardware. anyone help me out plz?

1. maybe you need to reinstall your driver..you can get it here..
2. Go to your 'My Computer' and find something called 'Removable Disk' (with a letter in brackets) and click on it. There, you should find your pictures. What you're seeing is the thing in the task bar of which Windows is saying that you can remove it without damage as nothing is being written/read of the card.
