- sure , wipe off quickly then wash off any residue. I would apply a small amount of wax on the area just to make sure it's protected.
- the Automotive aspect it is referring to is things like the dashboard, and windows. I wouldnt use it on the exterior paint. One thing that will work for you though, If you are a trumpet player or you have a music store near by, buy a bottle of (bluejuice Valve oil) the petrolium distilates in this oil doesnt hurt clearcoat. squirt a little on the spot with tape residue and let it sit for a minute. Then wipe it off with a rag or paper towel and thats it. I wouldnt reccommend useing the googone as it may deteriate or weaken the clearcoat.
- Probably ok. WD40 works well too and wont damage paint.
- Corn or vegetable can probably remove the glue. It may require a little scrubbing. Goo-gone contains petroleum distillates, so if you use it don't leave it on very long or rub very hard.
- I would first try heating the area with the sun or a hair drier and peel it off safely without damaging anything, then just clean the residue off with soap and water. I would also recommend using WD40, it will leave a shiny finish after wards. It has many other uses as well.
