Son messed with office laptop?!?!?!?

i left my office laptop at home today as i usually do and my son decided to try and set up a home network my laptop was set up to a domain and he got rid of that domain and changed it to our home workgroup now, i cant log in with anything not in safe mode nowhere i really need help i dont know what to do after this, the laptop wont leave my sight

1. No one else could know what network settings were in your office laptop, but your network administrator at work.
2. Just use System Restore and restore it to the day before everything happened. If you can't, then you need to know the domain name of your office network. Once you have that, go to start, control panel, network setup wizard. Just click next until it asks you for a domain name, then enter the name for your office's network, and hit next a couple more times. Hopefully, this will solve all your problems. Good luck, Brant
3. Sir, If its data most important to u, then on the first hand u can prevent it by installing another OS(latest Xp-SP3 or higher) but by another disk not by provided by the system provider. Install this OS on a Drive.Install all drivers found in the folder c:\SwSetup (for Hp) or any other place:, then backup(write on DVD or copy to pen drive) ur data. Then restart ur system using the original DVD of Laptop.This will reinstall all the original setting, but will format ur both drives. =============================================== Do all the above told procedure if nothing else could be done and data is at the highest priority.
